Curchorem (Kudchade) is a town and municipal council in the South Goa district of Goa, India. Curchorem is a part of the Quepem taluka and is a twin town with Sanvordem, both located on either side of the Zuari River. The town is self-sufficient and has a number of hospitals (including a Government Primary Health Centre), schools, a police station, banks, ATMs, a railway station, good road links, a market, places of worship, restaurants, a play ground, an electricity station and a theatre. Kudchade railway station (station code: SVM) is a small railway station in South Goa district, Goa. This railway station is also known as Curchorem as well as Sanvordem station. It serves Curchorem town. The station consists of 1 platform. The platform is not well sheltered. It lacks many facilities including water and sanitation. Quepem is a town with a municipal council in South Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. The town is the administrative headquarters of the Quepem taluka (sub-district). History The town was established by a Portuguese noble man Deão Jose Paulo de Almeida, the dean (''Deão'') of the church in AD 1787 after he moved there just five years after the conquest of Quepem sub-district by the Portuguese. He built his famous ''Palácio do Deão'', followed by a public market, hospital, a church and other facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants through his own expense. Brindavan Gardens
The Brindavan Gardens is a garden located 12 k.ms from the city of Mysore in the Mandya District of the Indian State of Karnataka. It lies adjoining the Krishnarajasagara Dam which is built across the river Kaveri. The work on laying out this garden was started in the year 1927 and completed in 1932. Visited by close to 2 million tourists per year, the garden is one of the major attractions of Srirangapatna. The Selaulim Dam is located on the Selaulim River, a tributary of the Zuari River in Goa, India, is an integral component of the Selaulim Irrigation Project which envisages benefits of irrigation and drinking water supply. The dam is a composite earth+masonry dam of height with a water spread area of .
