Cumberlege Commission
The Cumberlege Commission was an ecclesiastical commission chaired by Julia Cumberlege, Baroness Cumberlege, in 2006–2007. Its goal was to review the Catholic Church in England and Wales' policies in the prevention of child sexual abuse. The commission carried out its activities five years on from the independent review by Lord Nolan Michael Patrick Nolan, Baron Nolan, (10 September 1928 – 22 January 2007) was a judge in the United Kingdom, and from 1994 until 1997 was the first chairman of the Committee on Standards in Public Life. Julia Frances Cumberlege, Baroness Cumberlege, ( Camm; born 27 January 1943) is a British Conservative Party politician and businesswoman. She was created a life peer on 18 May 1990 as Baroness Cumberlege, ''of Newick in the County of East Sussex''. Child sexual abuse (CSA), also called child molestation, is a form of child abuse in which an adult or older adolescent uses a child for sexual stimulation. Nolan Report (Catholic Church)
The Nolan Report is a report published in 2001 by Lord Nolan on the problem of clerical child abuse.
