Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th President of the United States, has inspired numerous cultural works. Television and film Roosevelt has been portrayed many times in film and on television. Most frequently he was played by Sidney Blackmer, who essayed the role at least seven times on film and television. Karl Swenson played him twice: in a 1962 episode of '' The Virginian'' titled "Riff-Raff," and in the 1967 western picture '' Brighty of the Grand Canyon'', the story of a real-life burro who guided Roosevelt on a hunting trip to find mountain lions. ''Another Period'' is an American period sitcom television series created by and starring Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome.
