Club Deportivo Cuautla is a Mexican football club based in Cuautla, Mexico. Their home stadium is Estadio Isidro Gil Tapia. The club plays in the Mexican Liga Premier in the Serie B. History The club's history dates back to 1952 when the club was founded in Cuautla, Mexico and join the Segunda División Profesional. In 1953-54 the club finished runner-up. Due to the increased number of clubs in Primera División de México, the federation organized a promotional playoff series with: Cuautla; two teams from the 2nd Division ( Zamora and Querétaro); and the last place two teams in Primera División de México (Atlante F.C. and Marte). The outcome: Atlante remained in 1st Division; Cuautla was promoted to the 1st Division; Querétaro remained in the 2nd Division; and Marte was demoted to 2nd Division. Estadio Isidro Gil Tapia
The Estadio Isidro Gil Tapia is a multi-use stadium in Cuautla, Morelos, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium for C.D. Cuautla. Club Deportivo Marte was a Mexican football club. History The club began in Mexico City, but in the 1950s they moved to Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. The early club mainly consisted of Mexican soldiers, hence the name, in homage of the Roman god of war. Amateur era The first tournament played by the club was during the 1928–29 season. Club Deportivo Real Zamora was a Mexican football club that played in the Liga Premier - Serie A, however, from 2019 to 2020 season, the club is on hiatus because the club is in a process to improve its facilities and aspire to a promotion to the Liga de Expansión MX.
