Cry (Stellar Song)
"Cry" is a single album recorded by South Korean girl group Stellar. It was released as their seventh single album and ninth single overall. The song was released on July 18, 2016 by The Entertainment Pascal and distributed by Universal Music. In order to promote the song, Stellar appeared in several South Korean music programs, including ''Music Bank'' and '' Inkigayo''. A music video for the song was also released on July 18. The EP was a commercial success peaking at number 16 on the Gaon Album Chart. Background and release On May 20, 2016, it was reported that Stellar was making a comeback in early July with a new song, after six months since the last single, " Sting". On July 8, it was reported that a minor car accident occurred during the filming for the music video for the upcoming title track, resulting in a visit to the hospital with no major injuries. Stellar (South Korean Band)
Stellar (Hangul: 스텔라) was a South Korean girl group whose final lineup was composed of Minhee, Hyoeun, Soyoung and Youngheun that disbanded in 2018. Formed in 2011 by The Entertainment Pascal,Following Eric Mun's contract expiration with Top Class Entertainment in late 2013, the company renamed itself as The Entertainment Pascal. the group attracted attention as they were initially produced by Eric Mun of the boy band Shinhwa. Following an unsuccessful debut with the single "Rocket Girl" in August 2011, Stellar underwent a line-up change and released "UFO" in February 2012, which fared similarly. SBS M is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by SBS Medianet, a division of SBS Media Holdings. It features South Korean pop artists, international music, news, and a few reality and variety programs. It was launched in 2001 as the South Korean version of the US MTV. The compact disc (CD) is a Digital media, digital optical disc data storage format that was co-developed by Philips and Sony to store and play digital audio recordings. The Circle Digital Chart, previously known as the Gaon Digital Chart, is the music industry standard record chart ranking the 200 most popular singles in South Korea. It provides rankings on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis, which is based on an aggregate of streaming, downloads and background music from major South Korean music platforms. It is a part of the Circle Chart, previously known as the Gaon Chart. ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage. It is broadcast from CJ E&M Center Studio in Sangam-dong, Mapo District, Seoul. Broadcast ''M Countdown'' airs live on domestic television at 6PM KST every Thursday. Live streaming is available internationally via the ''M Countdown On Air'' page on Mwave's website. In the Philippines, online multi-view live broadcast of the show is available via gigafest.smart. It began airing on the free-to-air TV5 network from January 31, 2021, however due to low ratings on the network, it will conclude on March 6, 2022.
