Armageddon (Swedish Band)
Armageddon is a Swedish melodic death metal band, led by Christopher Amott of Arch Enemy. Biography Formed in Halmstad, Sweden, in 1997 by Christopher Amott, Armageddon began when Arch Enemy were invited to Japan to sign a new record deal with Toy's Factory records after the release of the '' Black Earth'' album. While in Japan, Christopher secured his own record deal for a solo project, which became Armageddon. When he returned to Sweden, he recruited drummer Peter Wildoer (Darkane, Majestic), bassist Martin Bengtsson, and vocalist Jonas Nyrén (In Thy Dreams). Thrash Metal

Nightrage is a Greek/Swedish melodic death metal band originally from Thessaloniki. They later re-located to Gothenburg, Sweden. History Formation and ''Sweet Vengeance'' (2000–2003) Nightrage was founded by Marios Iliopoulos and his close friend Gus G in June 2000. They made three demos from 2001 to 2002. Their debut album, '' Sweet Vengeance'', was released in 2003 and featured drummer Per Möller Jensen (The Haunted), and bassist Brice Leclercq. Antony Hämäläinen
Antony Hämäläinen (born August 28, 1980) is a Finnish metal vocalist living in the United States. Biography In the early 1990s, he started playing bass, drums, and singing for multiple bands based both in the US and Finland. September 2007, Hämäläinen joined the Gothenburg based melodic death metal band Nightrage. In March 2015, Armageddon, a Swedish melodic death metal band led by former Arch Enemy guitarist Christopher Amott, announced him as their permanent vocalist. In February 2022, on the Rock Talks podcast it was revealed he had auditioned to be the new vocalist for the industrial metal band Fear Factory. Christopher Amott
Christopher Amott (born 23 November 1977) is a Swedish guitarist, younger brother of Michael Amott and founding member of the metal bands Arch Enemy and Armageddon. He is currently the guitarist for Dark Tranquillity. Biography Amott was born in Halmstad. Inspired by his older brother Michael's band Carcass, he began studying the guitar at 14, playing in local bands, and eventually attending music college at age 18. While attending music school in 1996, Michael asked Christopher to record solos for his new melodic death metal project Arch Enemy. The '' Black Earth'' album was released in Japan in 1996, and received regular airplay on Japanese MTV.
