Crocodile Shoes II
''Crocodile Shoes II'' is a British six-part television series made by the BBC and screened on BBC One in 1996. The follow-up to ''Crocodile Shoes'', it was written by Jimmy Nail with Nick Mead as script associate. Where ''Crocodile Shoes'' followed Jed Shepperd on his journey from Newcastle to Nashville and all the way back, ''Crocodile Shoes II'' showed Jed trying to prove he didn't kill his manager Ade Lynn (James Wilby). During ''Crocodile Shoes II'' Shepperd was also sent to prison, became engaged to Wendy and was nearly killed in an accident. James Michael Aloysius Bradford (born 16 March 1954), known as Jimmy Nail, is an English singer-songwriter, actor, film producer, and television writer. He played the role of Leonard "Oz" Osborne in the television show ''Auf Wiedersehen, Pet'' and the title role in ''Spender''. He also recorded a 1992 number one single, "Ain't No Doubt". His role as Agustin, the oily crooner in the 1996 film ''Evita'', gave him international recognition. Peter Richardson (born 15 October 1951) is an English director, screenwriter, actor and comedian. He founded the Comic Strip troupe of performers, which showcased his double act with Nigel Planer and launched the careers of French and Saunders, Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson, and Alexei Sayle. Richardson approached Channel 4 to make a series of short, self-contained one-off comedy films with this group, which led to ''The Comic Strip Presents...'', many of which were written, directed by and featured him in acting roles.
