Croc (game Designer)
Christophe Réaux (born December 16, 1965, France) largely and mainly known by the pseudonym Croc, is a French games designer, specialized in role-playing games (RPG) although he also has designed at least both a board game (''L'Âge des dieux'', ''Age of Gods'') and a miniatures game (''Hell Dorado''). He is considered in his own country as a role-playing games pioneer and one of the most important designers in the ambit of such games. (on the upcoming release of Croc's miniatures game ''Hell Dorado'') Croc's games are edited by Siroz (a homophone of the French word ''cirrhose'', meaning "cirrhosis"), now called Asmodée éditions, French for Asmodeus. Cardiff Roller Collective
The Cardiff Roller Collective (CRoC) are a roller sports league based in Cardiff, Wales. Founded in 2010, the league has three roller derby, one roller hockey team, and an artistic skating group. Founded in October 2010, It initially had two teams, the Raiders of Roath Park and the Roathmantics; these were subsequently rearranged. The Collective was also joined by the Bridgend Bombshells, which had been founded in 2009. The Bombshells were based at the Bridgend Recreation Centre, in a town near Cardiff, although this was set for closure at the end of 2011. By late 2011, CRoC had launched roller hockey and artistic roller skating groups, and its membership exceeded seventy people. A ''croque monsieur'' () is a hot sandwich made with ham and cheese. The name comes from the French words ''croque'' ("crunch") and ''monsieur'' ("mister"). History The dish originated in French cafés and bars as a quick snack. In the early 1900s, bistro owner Michel Lunarca popularized the croque-monsieur. The Commandant of the Royal Observer Corps (CROC) was the Royal Air Force commander of the Royal Observer Corps. All the holders of the post were RAF officers in the rank of Air Commodore, initially retired reserve officers then Auxiliary officers and, since the end of World War II, serving officers. The ROC was a uniformed civilian branch initially under the control of the Air Defence of Great Britain organization, then Fighter Command and latterly Strike Command.
