Croatian Peasant Party Of Stjepan Radić (Croatia)
The Croatian Peasant Party of Stjepan Radić ( hr, Hrvatska seljačka stranka Stjepana Radića or HSS SR) is a minor Croatian political party in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2007, Croatian Peasant Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the New Croatian Initiative merged. The New Croatian Initiative was formed as a splinter group from the Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina by Krešimir Zubak. They were originally named HSS-NHI (CPP-NCI). After HSS-NHI underwent turmoil and internal divisions grew, a division of former HSS members led by Ljiljana Lovrić left the party and reestablished HSS in 2010. Shortly afterwards, another splinter group from HSS-NHI led by Anto Lozančić formed HSS Stjepan Radić. In 2014 general elections, they chose not to stand in the elections. The Croats (; hr, Hrvati ) are a South Slavic ethnic group who share a common Croatian ancestry, culture, history and language. Dobretići ( sr-cyrl, Добретићи) is a village and municipality located in Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is one of the youngest and smallest municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina hence being one of the poorest municipalities as well. Before the Bosnian War municipality of Dobretići was part of municipality Skender Vakuf (today Kneževo). Name The municipality of Dobretići was in the prior censuses known as Dobratići. 2014 Bosnian General Election
General elections were held in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 12 October 2014. They decided the makeup of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Presidency as well as national, entity, and cantonal governments. Voter turnout was 54.4%. The elections for the House of Representatives were divided into two; one for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and one for Republika Srpska. In the presidential election, voters in the Federation re-elected Bosniak Bakir Izetbegović and elected Croat Dragan Čović, while voters in Republika Srpska elected Serb Mladen Ivanić. The Party of Democratic Action emerged as the largest party in the House of Representatives, winning 10 of the 42 seats. While the Bosniak member Bakir Izetbegović was the only member of the tripartite Presidency to be re-elected, Serb member Mladen Ivanić was chosen as the first one to chair the Presidency. Krešimir Zubak
Krešimir Zubak (; born 25 January 1947) is a Bosnian Croat politician. At the beginning of the Bosnian War in 1992, he joined the Croatian Democratic Union. After Mate Boban left the position of president of the Croatian Republic of Herzeg-Bosnia, Zubak succeeded him. Under Zubak, the Croatian Defence Council and ARBIH established peaceful relations and the Washington agreement was signed. He later served as the inaugural President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and was a member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Zubak also served as Minister of Human Rights and Refugees. He later founded the New Croatian Initiative. Early life and career Krešimir Zubak was born in Doboj. The New Croatian Initiative ( hr, Nova hrvatska inicijativa or NHI) was a Bosnian Croat political party in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was founded by Krešimir Zubak in 1998, after he left the Croatian Democratic Union. The party was dissolved in 2007. History The New Croatian Initiative was founded by former Bosnian Presidency member Krešimir Zubak on 24 June 1998, who had previously left the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BiH).
