Croatia competed at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018, with 19 competitors in four sports. The national flag, national flag of Croatia ( hr, Zastava Hrvatske) or The Tricolour () is one of the state symbols of Croatia. Samuel Kolega (; born 15 January 1999) is a Croatian alpine skier. He competed in giant slalom at the 2018 Winter Olympics. He is the brother of fellow alpine skier Elias Kolega. The women's combined competition of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics was held on 22 February 2018 at the Jeongseon Alpine Centre and the Yongpyong Alpine Centre at the Alpensia Sports Park in PyeongChang. Qualification A total of up to 320 alpine skiers qualified across all eleven events. Athletes qualified for this event by having met the A qualification standard only, which meant having 140 or less FIS Points and being ranked in the top 500 in the Olympic FIS points list. The Points list takes into average the best results of athletes per discipline during the qualification period (1 July 2016 to 21 January 2018). Athletes were also required to have 80 or less FIS points in the downhill. Leona Popović
Leona Popović (; born 13 November 1997) is a Croatian alpine ski racer. Previously, she competed in all disciplines, but now specialises in slalom. Her best World Cup finish is sixth in slalom, achieved twice. Popović's first major competition was the 2015 World Championships in Beaver Creek, USA, where she competed in all disciplines at age seventeen; her best result was 27th in slalom. By her 22nd birthday, she had incurred three surgeries on her left leg. Andrea Komšić (born May 4, 1996) is a Croatian former alpine skier. She skied in the 2018 Olympics in Peyongchang, Korea and the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. Komšić was born in Kiseljak, in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She debuted in Zagreb in 2013. As of 2020, she has 13 FIS wins (8 in slalom, 3 in giant slalom, 1 in super G, and 1 in alpine combined).
