''Critters 3'' is a 1991 American science fiction comedy horror direct to video movie and the third installment of the ''Critters'' franchise, directed by Kristine Peterson. Cary Elwes mentioned on the commentary for the uncut edition DVD of ''Saw 3D'' that he passed on the role of Josh. It was shot simultaneously (from February 1991 until July 1991) with its sequel, ''Critters 4''. Unlike the first two films, it does not take place in the town of Grover's Bend. Plot Sometime after the events in '' Critters 2: The Main Course'', Charlie MacFadden is tracking down the last of the Critters. The original film was released in 1986 and received "two thumbs up" from Siskel and Ebert. William Zuckert (born December 18, 1915-died January 23, 1997) was an American actor. Life / Career Born and raised in The Bronx, New York, Zuckert began his career in 1941 in radio and lent his voice to hundreds of dramas over the next two decades. He served in World War II as a member of the naval construction force known as the Seabees. On old-time radio, Zuckert portrayed Lieutenant Louis Parker in the NBC crime drama '' Crime and Peter Chambers''. Frances Evelyn Bay (née Goffman; January 23, 1919 – September 15, 2011) was a Canadian-American character actress. In a career that spanned 35 years, she acted in a variety of roles both in film and television. Bay was inducted in Canada's Walk of Fame in 2008.
