Crispin Olando
Crispin Olando (born 3 January 1988) is a Kenyan international footballer who plays professionally as a midfielder. Club career Olando has played his entire career in the Kenyan Premier League, starting with Thika United FC in 2006 before moving to Tusker FC in 2010. International career Olando was a member of the Kenya national under-20 football team. Olando was first called up to the Kenya national football team in September 2011 for qualifying matches for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations. He scored in a warm-up friendly against high school side Kakamega School boys, then made his competitive debut against Uganda on October 8, 2011, coming on the in 88th minute. Honours Olando was team captain of Thika United in 2008. He was nominated for the Kenyan Premier League Footballer of the Year Awards for 2009 for Best Midfielder, and nominated for the same award in 2010. Thika Thika (pronounced θika is an industrial town and a major commerce hub in Kiambu County, Kenya, lying on the A2 road 42 kilometres (26 mi) Northeast of Nairobi, near the confluence of the Thika and Chania Rivers. Although Thika town is administratively in Kiambu County, the greater area comprises residential areas such as Bendor estate, Maporomoko, Thika Greens, Thika Golden Pearl, Bahati Ridge, and Thika Sports Club, among others that are within Murang'a County. Tusker FC
The Tusker Football Club is a professional football club based in Nairobi, Kenya. It is the second most successful club in Kenya with thirteen Kenyan league championships. They also have four Kenyan cup titles. In addition, it has won four East African CECAFA Clubs Cup titles. Formed in 1969, the club is sponsored by East African Breweries and its name refers to Tusker, a well-known beer brand by the company. The club was known as Kenya Breweries until 1999, when the current name was adopted. Tusker play some home games at the 15,000-capacity Kinoru Stadium in Meru. The 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, also known as the Orange Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons, was the 28th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
