Crieff Morrisonians F.C.
Crieff Morrisonians Football Club was a football club from the town of Crieff, Perthshire, Scotland. History The first recorded activity for the club was at the end of the 1896–97 season, under the name Morrisonian F.C., the name taken from Morrison's School in Crieff. Indeed, the club was originally solely for pupils and ex-pupils, although the restriction was subsequently abandoned. The club sought to join the Perthshire Association for the 1897–98 season, by now called Crieff Morrisonians, but the application was rejected. The club entered the Scottish Qualifying Cup from 1898–99 to 1920–21. The only time it won through to the Scottish Cup was in 1904–05. Wins over Vale of Teith, Stanley, and Lochee United were enough to qualify for the first round proper. Dunblane (, gd, Dùn Bhlàthain) is a small town in the council area of Stirling in central Scotland, and inside the historic boundaries of the county of Perthshire. It is a commuter town, with many residents making use of good transport links to much of the Central Belt, including Glasgow and Edinburgh. Dunblane is built on the banks of the Allan Water (or River Allan), a tributary of the River Forth. Dunblane Cathedral is its most prominent landmark. Dunblane had a population of 8,114 at the 2001 census, which grew to 8,811 at the 2011 census; both of these figures were computed according to the 2010 definition of the locality. Harold McDonald Paul (31 August 1886 – 18 April 1948) was a Scottish amateur football forward who played in the Scottish League for Queen's Park. He was capped by Scotland at international level. Stenhousemuir (; gd, Featha Thaigh nan Clach) is a town in the Central Lowlands of Scotland. It lies within the Falkirk council area of Scotland. The town is north-northwest of Falkirk and directly adjoins to Larbert in the west, where the nearest rail access is located. The villages of Carron and Carronshore adjoin Stenhousemuir to the east but to a lesser extent. At the 2001 census it showed that it had a resident population of 10,351 but according to a 2009 estimate this was revised to around 10,190 residents. The combined population of the four localities in 2011 was 24,722, representing about 15% of the Falkirk council area total.
