Cricket At The 2022 Asian Games – Women's Tournament
A women's cricket event was held as part of the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China from 19 to 25 September 2023. Nine teams took part in the event, and the participating teams were seeded according to their T20I rankings as of 1 June 2023. Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 5 wickets in the bronze medal match. India won the gold medal in the event by defeating Sri Lanka, who won the silver medal in the final. Squads Ahead of the tournament, Sadia Iqbal replaced Fatima Sana in Pakistan's squad due to an injury. Anjali Sarvani was ruled out of India's squad due to injury and was replaced by Pooja Vastrakar. Sri Lanka Women's National Cricket Team
The Sri Lanka women's national cricket team represents Sri Lanka in international women's cricket. One of eight teams competing in the ICC Women's Championship (the highest level of the sport), the team is organised by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
