Niccolò Ammaniti () is an Italian writer, winner of the Premio Strega in 2007 for ''As God Commands'' (also published under the title ''The Crossroads''). He became noted in 2001 with the publication of ''I'm Not Scared'' (''Io non ho paura''), a novel which was later made into a movie directed by Gabriele Salvatores. Biography Niccolò Ammaniti was born in Rome. Rocco Antonio Papaleo (born 16 August 1958) is an Italian actor, film director and singer. Born in Lauria (Basilicata), he moved to Rome to study math at university but left soon to attend the theatre school. Piero Natoli (22 November 1947 – 8 May 2001) was an Italian actor, director and screenwriter. Born in Rome, Natoli entered the cinema industry as an assistant director to Marco Bellocchio.
