Cranium Command
Cranium Command was an attraction at the Wonders of Life pavilion at Walt Disney World Resort's Epcot theme park. The show was a humorous presentation on the importance of the human brain. The show's script was written by Jenny Tripp, a staff writer in Walt Disney Animation Studios, Disney Feature Animation, and directed by Jerry Rees, who in addition to many other Disney film-based attractions, directed ''The Brave Little Toaster (film), The Brave Little Toaster''. The pre-show itself was the first directing effort of Gary Trousdale and Kirk Wise, famous for later directing ''Beauty and the Beast (1991 film), Beauty and the Beast'' and ''The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996 film), The Hunchback of Notre Dame''. Epcot, stylized in all uppercase as EPCOT, is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. Jeff Doucette
Jeffrey Doucette (born November 25, 1947) is an American character actor. Growing up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the second of eight children born to Elizabeth (Betty Andres) and William (Bill) Doucette. Jeffrey attended Marquette University High School and Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, where he became the first theater major and helped build the theater and theater program. He studied theater and graduated from Northern Illinois University. Audio-Animatronics (also known as simply Animatronics, and sometimes shortened to AAs) is the registered trademark for a form of robotics animation created by Walt Disney Imagineering for shows and attractions at Disney theme parks, and subsequently expanded on and used by other companies. The robots move and make noise (generally a recorded speech or song), but are usually fixed to whatever supports them. They can sit and stand but usually cannot walk. An Audio-Animatronic is different from an android-type robot in that it uses prerecorded movements and sounds, rather than responding to external stimuli.
