	Craigellachie, British Columbia Craigellachie (pronounced ) is a locality in British Columbia, located several kilometres to the west of the Eagle Pass summit between Sicamous and Revelstoke. Craigellachie is the site of a tourist stop on the Trans-Canada Highway between Salmon Arm and Revelstoke. It was named after the village of Craigellachie on the River Spey in Moray, Scotland, the ancestral home of Sir George Stephen, the first president of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR). 	Craigellachie, Moray Craigellachie ( gd, Creag Eileachaidh) is a small village in Moray, Scotland, at the confluence of the River Spey and River Fiddich (whose valley or glen gives its name to the famous Scotch whisky Glenfiddich), in walking distance of the town of Aberlour. The name means "Rock of Alarm" and was first applied to the cliff on which much of the village is sited, above the River Spey. Craigellachie dates back to at least 1750, when there was a ferry across the Spey where today's village now stands. It also stands at the intersection of the A95 from Keith to Aberlour and the A941 from Rothes to Dufftown. Craigellachie has two malt whisky distilleries ( Craigellachie and The Macallan) and is home to the Speyside Cooperage. Craigellachie Bridge over the River Spey was built by Thomas Telford between 1812 and 1815. 	Craigellachie, Windsor Craigellachie is a heritage-listed detached house at 10 Fosbery Street, Windsor, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built by its owner John Grant, a stonemason. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. History Craigellachie, a single-storeyed masonry residence, was constructed during the late 1880s boom. It was a resubdivision of Windsor-Lutwyche for closer settlement. It was erected by master stonemason John Grant as his family home. In 1887 Grant purchased just over an acre of land in what was then known as Alice Street. Two years later he raised a mortgage of on the property, which most likely financed the construction of the house in late 1889 or early 1890. The first mention of the house was in 1890 when John’s second daughter Annie married Colin W MacIntyre on December 31, 1889, at Craigellachie, Lutwyche, in The Telegraph newspaper.
