Craig Allen Johnson (born January 16, 1961) is an American author who writes mystery novels. He is best known for his Sheriff Walt Longmire novel series. The books are set in northern Wyoming, where Longmire is sheriff of the fictional county of Absaroka. The series debuted in 2004 and as of September 2021, Johnson has written 18 novels, two novellas, and many short stories featuring Longmire. Some of the novels have been on ''The New York Times'' Best Seller list. In 2012, Warner Horizon adapted the main characters and the Wyoming settings of the novels for a television series. Johnson lives at a ranch where he built a residence in the small town of Ucross, Wyoming—population 25. Craig Morris Hella Johnson (born Craig Morris Johnson, June 15, 1962) is an American choral conductor, composer, and arranger. Life and career Johnson was born on June 15, 1962 in Crow Wing County, Minnesota to Morris Melvin Johnson (1929-2015) and Marjorie Kathryn (Danielson) Johnson (b. 1931). He and one of his sisters adopted the name Hella, after the village in Norway that their family came from. Craig W. Johnson (born November 22, 1953) is an American politician who served as a member of the Alaska House of Representatives from 2007 to 2017. Career Johnson was elected to the House in 2006 and assumed office in 2007, representing the 28th district. He later represented the 21st and 24th district. He left office in 2017, and was succeeded by Chuck Kopp. He was co-chair of the Resources Committee, Chair of the Cook Island Salmon Task Force, Vice-Chair of the Transportation Committee, and was a member of the State Affairs Committee, and the Fisheries Special Committee. Elk Grove Village is a village in Cook and DuPage counties in the U.S. state of Illinois. Per the 2020 census, the population was 32,812. Located northwest of Chicago along the Golden Corridor, the Village of Elk Grove Village was incorporated on July 17, 1956. It is directly adjacent to O'Hare International Airport and is economically important to the Chicago metropolitan area due to its large industrial park, located on the eastern border of the village. Craig Johnson (born March 3, 1960) is an American football coach who was the running backs for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He was the quarterbacks coach for the Minnesota Vikings from 2011 to 2013. Craig Thomas Johnson (born March 18, 1972), is an American former professional ice hockey player who played ten seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 33rd overall by the St. Louis Blues in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft and went on to play 563 games in the NHL. Internationally Johnson played for the American national team in several World Championships and the 1994 Winter Olympics. He is currently working in the player development department for the Kings.
