Craig Campbell (born 16 July 1969, Essex) is a retired British freestyle BMX rider and disc jockey. Widely regarded as one of the pioneers of the freestyle era in the 1980s, he was one of the first European riders to compete on American soil. Since retiring at an early age of twenty one in 1991, he established himself as a disc jockey. Biography Born near Southend, Essex; Campbell first came to attention in 1983 when Bob Haro, needing a British rider to represent his company, noticed Campbell's performance at a competition taking place at Harrow Skate Park thus sponsoring him in the process, making him the first non-American rider to receive a full sponsorship by Haro, resulting in Campbell's sudden popularity. Craig Eaton Campbell (born March 24, 1952) is an American politician and businessman who served as the president and CEO of the Alaska Aerospace Corporation (AAC). He joined the corporation as chief operating officer in February 2011, and was appointed president and CEO by the board of directors in October 2012. Prior to his position at AAC, Campbell was the tenth lieutenant governor of Alaska, holding the office from August 10, 2009, through December 6, 2010. Pending his confirmation by the State Legislature, he was "temporary substitute" lieutenant governor for several weeks. Campbell left office in December 2010, after having withdrawn from the Republican primary race for lieutenant governor, which was eventually won by Mead Treadwell. Before serving as lieutenant governor, Campbell was the commissioner of the Alaska Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Craig Campbell (born 18 July 1963) is a former professional tennis player from South Africa. Career Campbell, who played collegiate tennis for the University of Miami, made the round of 16 at the 1984 Japan Open Tennis Championships, defeating world number 63 Nduka Odizor en route. Partnering Joey Rive, Campbell was a losing doubles finalist at the Swedish Open in 1986. The following year, he reached the singles quarter-finals in the Tel Aviv Open. He was only able to progress past the first round of a Grand Slam tournament once, which was at the 1990 French Open, in the mixed doubles with Mary Pierce. His two appearances in the main singles draw ended in disappointment. Robert Craig Campbell (1878–1965) was a Canadian tenor who performed in operettas across Canada and the United States. Campbell recorded with the Columbia, Davega, Perfect and Pathé labels. Although a tenor, Campbell had a very rich voice and could also sing baritone, and described himself as a '' tenore robusto''. Childhood Campbell was born in London, Ontario to Alexander and Elizabeth Campbell in 1878. While Campbell was young, the family moved several times, living in Hamilton and Owen Sound before settling down in Winnipeg.
