Craig Bradshaw (American Football)
William Craig Bradshaw (born August 14, 1957) is a former professional American football quarterback in the National Football League. Bradshaw was drafted in the 7th round (182nd overall) of the 1980 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers and he played a total of two games in the 1980 season. He is the brother of Pittsburgh Steeler Terry Bradshaw. The quarterback (commonly abbreviated "QB"), colloquially known as the "signal caller", is a position in gridiron football. Edward Sternaman
Edward "Dutch" Sternaman (February 9, 1895 – February 1, 1973) was an American player and owner in professional football for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). During the 1910s, Sternaman and George Halas excelled on the Illinois Fighting Illini football team. In 1919, Sternaman was contacted by executives from the Arcola, Illinois (Independents) football team and asked to assemble a roster strong enough to exact revenge on A. E. Staley's team following a 41–0 loss. Although Sternaman agreed, the Staleys were not present when they became aware of the plan. Staley later approached Sternaman to increase the team's competitiveness, but he declined as he was close to finishing his mechanical engineering degree at Illinois. In 1920, Halas assumed control of the Staleys, and Sternaman was the first player to sign with the team. During the 1920 season, Sternaman would rush for 11 touchdowns. Joseph Theodore Sternaman (February 1, 1900 – March 10, 1988) was an American professional football player who was a quarterback for eight seasons for the Chicago Bears and Duluth Kelleys of the National Football League (NFL). At 5'6" and 135 pounds he was called "the strongest little man I ever met" by sportswriter Grantland Rice. He played quarterback during the years Red Grange starred with the Bears. Terry Paxton Bradshaw (born September 2, 1948) is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League (NFL). Since 1994, he has been a television sports analyst and co-host of ''Fox NFL Sunday''. The 1980 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting.
