Cracker Comedy Festival
The Sydney Comedy Festival is an annual comedy festival held in Sydney. Launched in 2005 as The Cracker Sydney Comedy Festival at a number of inner city venues, the Festival has grown quickly and now attracts 111,000 patrons every year at venues all across Sydney. The Sydney Comedy Awards were introduced in 2008, to celebrate excellence in the Sydney Comedy Festival. In 2013, the festival introduced The Sydney Comedy Festival showcase tour, bringing bits of the festival to towns all over Australia. 2020 saw the festival go on hiatus. In 2021, it was held 19 April to 16 May. Venues have included State Theatre, Enmore Theatre, The Concourse, and Riverside Theatres. Performers have included Ronny Chieng, Matt Okine, Rhys Nicholson, and Corey White. Enmore Theatre
The Enmore Theatre is a theatre and entertainment venue in Sydney, Australia. It was built in 1908. It is located at 118–132 Enmore Road in Newtown, in the inner west of Sydney's suburbs. It was first opened in 1912 as a photo-play theatre. It was run by a well-known theatre family at the time, the Szarka Brothers. Today's Enmore Theatre is the longest running live theatre in Sydney, hosting concerts, comedians, plays and all forms of performance. The theatre is considered a medium-sized venue that holds 1,700 people when fully seated and 2,500 when seats are removed, and all attendees are standing. It has hosted many international bands including a performance by Bob Dylan. The venue's art deco style is protected by its listing as a historic building within Sydney. Felicity Ward
Felicity Ward (born 26 September 1980) is an Australian comedian, best known for her TV appearances on '' Spicks and Specks'', ''Thank God You're Here'', ''Good News Week'' and as a writer/performer in the Channel 10 Network television programme ''The Ronnie Johns Half Hour''. The Pajama Men
The Pajama Men are Shenoah Allen and Mark Chavez, an American comedy duo of character comics from Albuquerque, New Mexico. They have won awards including the Barry Award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in 2009, and Best Newcomer and Best of the Fest at The Sydney Comedy Festival in 2009. They began performing together as Sabotage, creating shows including ''Sabotage 2001'' and ''In Fine Form.'' In meteorology, a cloud is an aerosol consisting of a visible mass of miniature liquid droplets, frozen crystals, or other particles suspended in the atmosphere of a planetary body or similar space. Water or various other chemicals may compose the droplets and crystals.
