Jimmy Cozier (jazz Musician)
Jimmy Cozier Sr. (born 1954) is a jazz musician from New York City. He plays saxophone, flute, and clarinet. He is the father of R&B singer Jimmy Cozier. He has performed and toured with Panama Francis, Sam Rivers, Reggie Workman, Mongo Santamaria, and Abdullah Ibrahim. He played lead alto saxophone with the big bands of Cab Calloway, Frank Foster, Charlie Persip, Jaki Byard, and Chico O'Farrill. Background Cozier studied saxophone with Bill Barron, George Coleman, and William "Buddy" Pearson and clarinet with Charles Russo of the New York City Opera. He is the author of ''The Jazz Improviser's Woodshed'' Volumes 1–3 and is a member of the faculty of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Middle School Jazz Academy. Cozier also leads ensemble workshops where he teaches jazz improvisation. He is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship Grant. Jimmy Cozier
Jimmy Cozier (born February 6, 1977) is an American R&B singer and songwriter. He is best known for his hit single "She's All I Got" and for being one of the inaugural artists signed to Clive Davis' J Records label. Biography The son of Guyanese American jazz saxophonist Jimmy Cozier, and Dawn Cozier, a Jamaican born hair stylist. Cozier and his younger brother Malik were raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Cozier was encouraged to sing as a child by his family, who would demand that he perform in group settings. He started out as a singer/songwriter for artists such as Mýa, Sinéad O'Connor, and Janet Jackson (whose hit " Girlfriend/Boyfriend" he co-wrote). He was a background vocalist for the Junior Mafia/Lil' Kim track "Backstabbers" and toured with Joe behind the latter's album '' All That I Am''. Wyclef Jean caught word of Cozier's talent thru Cozier manager Jacques “Haitian Jack” Agnant and had him meet with Clive Davis, who signed Cozier to J Records in 2000. ...

Mac Cozier
Mac Cozier (born October 23, 1973, in Orange Park, Florida) is a retired American soccer player. He played one season in Major League Soccer, one in the Chilean Second Division, one in USISL and six in the USL First Division. He also earned one cap with the United States national team in 1996. College Cozier attended University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he played on the men's team from 1992 to 1995. His best was 1994 when he was named a first team All-American. He finished his career as the school's all time, fourth on the career goals list and second on the career point. Professional The Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer selected Cozier in the first round (tenth overall) of the 1996 MLS College Draft. He played games for the Crew. Winston Anthony Lloyd Cozier (10 July 1940 – 11 May 2016) was a Barbadian cricket journalist, writer, and radio commentator on West Indian cricket for over fifty years.
