Wizex Songs
Wizex is a Swedish dansband formed in Osby in 1973. It purchased the rights to the name from a band that started as ''Ulrik Wittmans Kvintett'' in 1957''.'' When Ulrik Wittman left the band in 1963 they started to use the name ''Wizex''. When read out the name sounds like "The Six of Us", "vi sex", in Swedish, and it was six persons left in the band when they changed the name. Today's band had six founders and was allowed to purchase the name, and hence use 1973 as the starting point. Wizex broke through in 1977 when they performed on nationwide TV-show '' Nygammalt'' and got its first top ten on the Swedish charts same year with the song ''Vagabond.'' Åke Per-Erik Strömmer (10 June 1936 – 22 February 2005) was a Swedish sports journalist, radio presenter and television host. Early life Strömmer was born on 10 June 1936 in Härnösand, Sweden, the son of Erik Strömmer, an accountant, and his wife May (née Bolin). He passed ''studentexamen'' in 1956. Career Strömmer was employed at '' Västernorrlands Allehanda'' from 1957 to 1958 before joining Sveriges Radio the same year. He worked for Sveriges Radio in Luleå from 1959 to 1962 and in Malmö from 1962 to 1963. Ann-Kristin "Kikki" Danielsson (born 10 May 1952) is a Swedish country, dansband and pop singer. Sometimes, she also plays the accordion and she has also written some lyrics. She has gained notice for yodeling in some songs. Danielsson gained her largest popularity in the Nordic region from the late 1970s until the late 1990s.
