Cornell North Campus
North Campus is a residential section of Cornell University's Ithaca, New York campus located north of Fall Creek. It primarily houses freshmen. North Campus offers programs which ease the transition into college life for incoming freshmen. Clara Dickson Hall
Clara Dickson Hall is a freshman dorm located on the North Campus of Cornell University. It is the largest dormitory in the Ivy League, housing over 460 students. Clara Dickson is also home to the Multicultural Living Learning Unit, or "McLLU". History Clara Dickson Hall was constructed in 1946 in the Colonial style. The hall was named after Clara Dickson, the mother of Cornell's first president Andrew Dickson White. Dickson Hall was originally built as a women-only dorm, as were the other North Campus residences at the time. Future Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg '54 lived in Dickson during her freshman year at Cornell. Resident Assistant
A resident assistant (RA), also known by a variety of other names, is a trained peer leader who coordinates activities in residence halls in colleges and universities, mental health and substance abuse residential facilities, or similar establishments. An RA has many roles and responsibilities, including building a residential community through programming, acting as a mentor for students, being a familiar first resource for students with academic or institutional questions, and enforcing residence policies. Ping-pong
Table tennis, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff, is a sport in which two or four players hit a lightweight ball, also known as the ping-pong ball, back and forth across a table using small solid rackets. It takes place on a hard table divided by a net. Except for the initial serve, the rules are generally as follows: Players must allow a ball played toward them to bounce once on their side of the table and must return it so that it bounces on the opposite side.
