Florida State Road 838
Sunrise Boulevard is a long east–west highway serving central Broward County mostly designated State Road 838 (SR 838). The road begins at an interchange with the Sawgrass Expressway ( SR 869) in Sunrise and continues east to North Ocean Boulevard ( SR A1A) in Fort Lauderdale, next to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. For in downtown Fort Lauderdale, SR 838 overlaps U.S. Route 1. The westernmost of Sunrise Boulevard carries the unsigned designation of County Road 838 along with its state road designation. Route description Sunrise Boulevard has its western terminus at the Sawgrass Expressway. On the northwest corner of its intersection with Flamingo Road is Sawgrass Mills, one of the nation's largest malls. Southwest Ranches, Florida
Southwest Ranches is a town in Broward County, Florida, United States. It is a suburban community part of the Miami metropolitan area and is located on the eastern edge of the Everglades, 15 miles (24 km) southwest of Fort Lauderdale and about 22 miles (35 km) northwest of Miami. It is unusual in that it consists of three non-contiguous areas, albeit they are in close proximity; the two largest being separated by . It became the county's 30th incorporated place in 2000 to avoid annexation into Pembroke Pines and to preserve its semirural lifestyle. Parkland is a suburban city, 42 miles northwest of Miami, in northern Broward County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of Parkland was 34,670. Sample Road, mostly signed as State Road 834 (SR 834), is a east–west commuter highway serving northern Broward County, Florida. It begins at an interchange with the Sawgrass Expressway in Coral Springs and ends at North Federal Highway (US 1) at the city limits boundary between Pompano Beach and Lighthouse Point. Eastbound travelers overshooting the SR 834 terminus find themselves on a 36th Street in Lighthouse Point, which dead-ends at a canal cut for the Intracoastal Waterway. State Road 816 (SR 816), locally known as Oakland Park Boulevard is a east–west commercial and commuter road serving central Broward County, Florida, carrying the designations of State Road 816 (SR 816) and County Road 816 (CR 816). It extends from the Sawgrass Expressway east to an intersection with SR A1A (Ocean Boulevard) in Fort Lauderdale. Route description Oakland Park Boulevard passes through mainly residential zones of Sunrise, Lauderhill, Lauderdale Lakes, Oakland Park, Wilton Manors, and Fort Lauderdale. Sunrise is a city in central-western Broward County, Florida, United States, and is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 97,335. Margate is part of the Miami metropolitan area, which was home to 6,166,488 people in 2020. Margate was founded in the 1950s, when much of it was still either part of the Everglades or farmland. Florida State Road 869 (SR 869) is a state road located in western and northern Broward County, acting as a de facto bypass of Fort Lauderdale as well as the northern coastal and southern parts of the county extending north from a junction of I-75 ( SR 93), I-595 ( SR 862) in Sunrise to Coral Springs where it heads eastward towards Florida's Turnpike and intersecting I-95 before terminating at Southwest 10th Avenue in Deerfield Beach. The section west of the Turnpike is known as the Sawgrass Expressway, a six-lane, limited-access, all-electronic toll road; the section east of the Turnpike is a surface street known as Southwest 10th Street.
