''Count'' () is a 2023 South Korean comedy-drama film directed by Kwon Hyuk-jae, starring Jin Seon-kyu as former boxer Park Si-heon. It was released on February 22, 2023. Premise Si-heon (Jin Seon-kyu), a gold medalist at the 1988 Olympic Games, is now an ordinary high school gym teacher in 1998. After retiring as a boxer, the only thing left is his stubbornness. The story revolves around Si-heon and Yoon-woo (Sung Yoo-bin), a rebellious student as they throw a punch at the unfair world. The Korean Film Council (KOFIC) () is a state-supported, self-administered organization under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) of the Republic of Korea. History KOFIC was launched in 1973 as the Korean Motion Picture Promotion Corporation (KMPPC). It changed its name to Korean Film Commission in 1999, to be set up as a self-regulating body that could institute film policy without requiring the ratification of the Ministry of Culture. It changed its name once more to Korean Film Council in 2004 to avoid confusion with local film commissions that provide support for location shooting.
