	Council Of The Fallen Council of the Fallen was an American death metal band formed in Tampa, Florida. Council of the Fallen have released two LPs and one EP album. History Council of the Fallen was formed in Tampa, Florida in 1997 under the name "Vehement". Steve Asheim of Deicide joined the band in November 2007, prior to bands' break-up. Council of the Fallen split-up in 2007. Three members of the band Kevin Quirion, Scott Patrick and Steve Asheim, regrouped as Order of Ennead. 	Derek Roddy Derek Roddy (born August 28, 1972) is an American drummer and snake breeder, originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. His ability to record entire drum tracks in one or two takes earned him the nickname "One Take". Derek has gained a reputation worldwide as an extreme metal drummer. Though he may be known as the second drummer of Hate Eternal, he has also played and recorded with Nile, Malevolent Creation, Divine Empire, Council of the Fallen (where he also played guitar), Today Is the Day, Traumedy and Aurora Borealis. On March 28, 2006, Roddy announced his departure from Hate Eternal. At the age of three, he started picking up drums after his grandfather gave him his first drum kit. He has become known for his hard hitting, fast drum fills and double bass. His influences include bands such as Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Pink Floyd, Kiss, Iron Maiden, Sepultura, Immortal, Emperor and Devin Townsend Project.
