Raul Rǎzvan Costin, (born 29 January 1985), was a Romanian footballer. His predominant position is central midfielder but he can also play in a more defensive role and also as a right back. He is best known for his simple distribution and long shots. Early career Costin is a product of the Naţional București youth academy making his first-team debut during the 2006–07 season against CFR Cluj coming on as a substitute in a 1–0 loss. Before his Naţional debut, he has played one season loaned to FC Sibiu during the 2005–06 season. Costin Petrescu (born in 1947 in Bucharest) is an architect, graphic artist, percussionist and Romanian-French composer. He is one of the pioneers of the Romanian rock performing in two legendary pop-rock bands, Olympic 64 and Phoenix. His love for jazz and jazz / rock led to numerous projects and collaborations with Mircea Tiberian, Marius Popp, Dan Mandrila, Johnny Răducanu, Cătălin Târcolea, Dragoş Nedelcu, Mircea Florian, Nicu Alifantis, Sergiu Cioiu. Costin D. Neniţescu in some scientific publication written as ''Nenitzescu'' (; 15 July 1902 – 28 July 1970) was a prominent Romanian chemist, and a professor at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. Costin Lazăr (born 24 April 1981) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a defensive midfielder for teams such as Sportul Studențesc, Rapid București, PAOK or FC Voluntari, among others. William Costin
William "Billy" Costin ( - May 31, 1842) was a free African-American activist and scholar who successfully challenged District of Columbia slave codes in the Circuit Court of the District of Columbia. Early life Little is known of Costin's upbringing. His enslaved mother was Ann Dandridge-Costin, and her father is reputed to have been Col. John Dandridge of Williamsburg, Virginia, making her the half-sister of Martha Washington. Ann Dandridge-Costin was said to be of African and Cherokee descent. Native American slavery had ended and she should have been free under Virginia law via her maternal ancestry, but the slave colony put priority on African ancestry. While Ann and several of her children lived at the Mount Vernon plantation owned by George Washington on the Potomac River in Fairfax County, Virginia, there is no evidence her son William lived there.
