Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti
''Cosi Fan Tutti Frutti'' is a 1985 album by the British new wave group Squeeze. It is the band's sixth album, and the first recorded since their breakup in 1982. It reunited songwriters Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford with drummer Gilson Lavis and keyboardist Jools Holland (now credited as "Julian"). Keith Wilkinson, who played bass on the 1984 ''Difford & Tilbrook'' album, joined Squeeze for the first time. He would stay with the band for over a decade, making him the longest-lasting bassist in Squeeze's history. Laurie Latham produced the album. The album peaked at number 31 on the UK Albums Chart. The album's title is a play on words, combining the name of the Mozart Italian-language opera ''Così fan tutte'' with the name of the Italian confection '' tutti-frutti'' (also the name of a Little Richard song). Christopher Holland
Christopher William Holland is an English keyboard player, singer and songwriter. He is the younger brother of pianist and band-leader Jools Holland. Career Holland left school at 16 to concentrate on his first band, B Sharp, with twin brother Richard on drums and school friend Lisa Covington on guitar. They were signed to Miles Copeland's label I.R.S. Records in the early 1980s, toured the UK and released two singles with producers Pascal Gabriel and Dennis Herring before going their separate ways. In between working on his own music, Holland has also toured and recorded with Green On Red, Squeeze, Paul Weller, Stereophonics, Ray Davies and performed with his elder brother Jool's Rhythm and Blues Orchestra. E-mu Emulator
The Emulator is a series of digital sampling synthesizers using floppy disk storage, manufactured by E-mu Systems from 1981 until 2002. Though not the first commercial sampler, the Emulator was among the first to find wide use among ordinary musicians, due to its relatively low price and fairly contained size, which allowed for its use in live performances. It was also innovative in its integration of computer technology. The samplers were discontinued in 2002. Electronic drums is a modern electronic musical instrument, primarily designed to serve as an alternative to an acoustic drum kit. Electronic drums consist of an electronic sound module which produces the synthesized or sampled percussion sounds and a set of 'pads', usually constructed in a shape to resemble drums and cymbals, which are equipped with electronic sensors (or triggers) to send an electronic signal to the sound module which outputs a sound to the player. (''All Women Do It, or The School for Lovers''), K. 588, is an opera buffa in two acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It was first performed on 26 January 1790 at the Burgtheater in Vienna, Austria. The libretto was written by Lorenzo Da Ponte who also wrote ''Le nozze di Figaro'' and ''Don Giovanni''. Although it is commonly held that was written and composed at the suggestion of the Emperor Joseph II, recent research does not support this idea. There is evidence that Mozart's contemporary Antonio Salieri tried to set the libretto but left it unfinished. In 1994, John Rice uncovered two terzetti by Salieri in the Austrian National Library.
