Léo Lania
Leo Lania ( 1896 – 9 November 1961) was a journalist, playwright and screenwriter. He was born Lazar Herrmann to a Jewish family in Kharkov. Although born in Russian Empire, Lania emigrated to Vienna and served in the Austro-Hungarian Army during the First World War. After the war he became increasingly involved with far-left politics and political theatre. In Germany he worked for the Communist-affiliated Prometheus Film and wrote '' The Shadow of a Mine'' (1929) for the Volksfilmverband. He also produced the screenplay for G. W. Pabst's ''The Threepenny Opera'' (1931). During the late Weimar era, Lania worked with the celebrated theatre directors Max Reinhardt and Alexis Granowsky. Lania's play ''Konjunktur (Oil Boom)'' premiered in Berlin in 1928, directed by Erwin Piscator, with incidental music by Kurt Weill. Oscar Andriani
Oscar Andriani (28 December 1905 – 17 July 1987) was an Italian actor and playwright. He appeared in more than fifty films from 1937 to 1969. Life and career Born in Brescia, Andriani made his stage debut at 17 years old in the theatrical company of , and later worked with other important companies of the time, such the ones led by Emma Gramatica, Wanda Capodaglio and Annibale Ninchi. He had a prolific career as a character film actor, often appearing alongside his real life friend Amedeo Nazzari. Walter Bigari better known by his stage name Walter Brandi was an Italian actor. In his book on European exploitation films, Danny Shipka described Brandi as "one of the first de facto stars of Italian horror/exploitation", while noting he was never as popular as Christopher Lee, Barbara Steele or Peter Cushing Peter Wilton Cushing (26 May 1913 – 11 August 1994) was an English actor. Lia Di Leo
Lia Anna Di Leo (22 July 1923 – 15 December 2006) was an Italian actress and model. She entered the 1951 Miss Italy contest and then began acting in films, generally playing glamorous supporting roles. Di Leo's parents died while she was very young, and as a result she raised her two younger twin brothers, Marion and Tony. After marrying in 1957 she retired from the screen and moved to the United States, where she worked as a sculptor. She died in Palm Springs, California on 15 December 2006, at the age of 83.
