Cory Mee
Cory Thomas Mee (born February 14, 1970) is an American college baseball coach and former third baseman, who is the current associate head baseball coach and catching coach for the Western Michigan Broncos. Mee grew up in Hilton, New York, and graduated from Hilton High School in 1988. He played college baseball at the University of Notre Dame from 1989 to 1992, before playing professionally for the Yakima Bears in 1992. He served as the head coach at the University of Toledo from 2004 to 2019. Coaching career Mee was named the head coach of the Rockets in 2004. On May 20, 2019, Mee stepped down from his position as head coach at Toledo. Toledo Rockets Baseball
The Toledo Rockets baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. The team is a member of the Mid-American Conference West division, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Toledo's first baseball team was fielded in 1921. The team plays its home games at Scott Park Baseball Complex in Toledo, Ohio. History In 1999, Joe Kruzel became the first Toledo manager to be named the MAC Coach of the Year. Jeremy Griffiths was named the conference's Pitcher of the Year in the same season. In 2012, the Rockets were the regular season champions of the MAC West division for the first time in their history. On May 20, 2019, Cory Mee stepped down as head coach after 16 seasons. The University of Toledo (UToledo or UT) is a public research university in Toledo, Ohio. It is the northernmost campus of the University System of Ohio.
