Cory Martin
Cory Martin (born May 22, 1985, in Bloomington, Indiana) is an American track and field athlete specializing in the shot put. His best international outing so far is the ninth place at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow. His outdoor personal best of , set in 2010 places him tied at number 21 on the world all-time list, as of 2017. His indoor personal best is 20.98 meters, set in 2013. Throwing Career Martin attended Edgewood high school. He won the 2003 IHSAA state meet in the discus. After high school he attended Auburn University where he was a nine-time All-American and two time national champion. Following his collegiate career he got sponsored by Nike in order to continue throwing competitively. 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships
The 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics was held between 12 and 14 March at the Aspire Dome in Doha, Qatar. The championships was the first of six IAAF World Athletics Series events to take place in 2010. Bidding and organisation The IAAF announced on March 25, 2007, at an IAAF Council meeting in Mombasa, Kenya that it had received bids from Turkey and Qatar to host the championships. The 2013 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships was held at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Albuquerque Convention Center is a multipurpose convention and performing arts center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It is New Mexico's largest convention center. 2010 USA Indoor Track And Field Championships
The 2010 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships was held at Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Organized by USA Track and Field (USATF), the two-day competition took place February 27–28 and served as the national championships in indoor track and field for the United States. The championships in combined track and field events were held two weeks later from March 6–7 at Gladstein Fieldhouse at Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana.
