Corvi-Mora is a contemporary art gallery based in Kennington, South London. The gallery represents emerging and established international artists including Turner Prize nominees Roger Hiorns and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye. History Corvi-Mora was founded by Tommaso Corvi-Mora in 2000 at premises in London's Warren Street after the closure of the gallery Robert Prime which he founded in partnership with Gregorio Magnani in 1995. Corvi-Mora moved to a space on Kempsford Road in 2004 with the contemporary art gallery greengrassi. Jennifer Packer
Jennifer Packer (born 1984) is a contemporary American painter and educator based in New York City. Packer's subject matter includes political portraits, interior scenes, and still life featuring contemporary Black American experiences. She paints portraits of contemporaries, funerary flower arrangements, and other subjects through close observation. Primarily working in oil paint, her style uses loose, improvisational brush strokes, and a limited color palette. Early life and education Packer was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Alvaro Barrington
Alvaro Barrington (born 1983) is a London-based artist. Primarily a painter, Barrington often incorporates yarn, wood and other media into his work. Early life and education Alvaro Barrington was born on 1 February 1983 in Caracas, Venezuela, the son of a Grenadian mother and Haitian father. He grew up in Grenada and then from aged 8 lived in Brooklyn, New York. Barrington attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and then trained at Hunter College in New York. In 2015, he moved to London and studied at the Slade School of Fine Art completing his MFA in 2017. Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster (born 30 June 1965, in Strasbourg) is a French visual artist and educator. She is known for her work in video projection, photography, and art installations. She has worked in landscaping, design, and writing. "I always look for experimental processes. I like the fact that at the beginning I don't know how to do things and then, slowly, I start learning. Richard Hawkins (artist)
Richard Hawkins (born 1961 in Mexia, Texas) is an American artist. He lives and works in Los Angeles. His works are held by museums including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Art Institute of Chicago. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Texas, Austin in 1984 and a Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) in 1988. After graduating from Cal Arts, Hawkins worked for a time as a short story writer. Hawkins' art largely consists of sculpture and collage.
