Corvallis (Salish: cƛ̓mƛ̓mqéy) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Ravalli County, Montana, United States. The population was 1,125 at the 2020 census. History Corvallis, Montana was named by settlers who hailed from Corvallis, Oregon. It was platted in 1879. Geography Corvallis is located at (46.315010, -114.114630). Corvallis High School, also known as Our Lady of Corvallis High School, was a Catholic girls high school located in Studio City, California that operated between 1941 and 1987. The campus is now being used by the Bridges Academy. History Corvallis, Our Lady of Corvallis High School, (all girls) was the oldest Catholic High School in the ''San Fernando Valley'' until its closure in 1987. It was operated by the sisters of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM). The school was located at 3921 Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City, California just south of Ventura Boulevard. The campus is now occupied by Bridges Academy. In 1941, there were no Catholic high schools in the San Fernando Valley, only elementary schools. Archbishop John J. Corvallis High School (CHS) is a four-year Public school (government funded), public secondary school in Corvallis, Oregon. Originally established in 1910, the high school sat between the downtown area of Corvallis and Oregon State University. In 1935, a new school was built on what was then considered the far northern edge of the town on approximately 25 acres. In 2005, a third structure was built on the site of the former one in what is now considered a central part of the city. Corvallis High School is one of two traditional secondary schools in the Corvallis School District, the other being Crescent Valley High School on the northern edge of the city. The Cessna 350 Corvalis is a composite construction, single-engine, normally aspirated, fixed-gear, low-wing general aviation aircraft that was built by Cessna Aircraft until the end of 2010. The aircraft was formerly built by Columbia Aircraft and called the Columbia 350 until late 2007. Corvallis Knights
The Corvallis Knights, founded as the Aloha Knights, are a collegiate summer baseball team located in Corvallis, Oregon. Founded in 1990 in Beaverton by Dan and his brother Joe Segel, the Knights moved to Corvallis from Gresham in 2007. They play in the West Coast League, a college summer wood-bat league where college players and prospects prepare for the pros. The league comprises teams from British Columbia, Oregon and Washington. Corvallis plays its home games at Goss Stadium, also the home of the Oregon State Beavers. The Knights are named after Penny Knight, their top sponsor.
