Cortlandt Station
Cortlandt station is a commuter rail stop on the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line, located in Montrose, New York. Trains leave for New York City every hour on weekdays, and about every 25 minutes during rush hour. It is from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to Grand Central is about 62 minutes. History Cortlandt is the second newest station on the Hudson Line (and seventh-newest on the Metro-North system). The station replaced the low-level Montrose and Crugers stations at a point midway between them on June 30, 1996. Those stations were replaced as part of the last stage of expanding the Hudson Line to six-car high-level platforms. They could not be extended because of the curvature of their platforms. Montrose, New York
Montrose is a hamlet (and census-designated place) within the town of Cortlandt, in the northwestern corner of Westchester County, New York, United States. It is located near Croton-on-Hudson and Buchanan. The rural character of the hamlet is defined by the Hudson River, numerous wooded hills and steep slopes, wetland areas and beautiful streams. Croton–Harmon Station
Croton–Harmon station () is a train station in Croton-on-Hudson, New York. It serves the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line and all Amtrak lines running along the Empire Corridor. It is the main transfer point between the Hudson Line's local and express service and marks the northern endpoint of third-rail electrification on the route. Nearly all electric trains running on the Hudson Line originate and terminate here, though a handful of peak-direction rush hour trains do so further south at Greystone, Irvington, or Tarrytown. As the line's electrification ends just north of the station, trains traveling to or from points north (primarily the northern terminus, Poughkeepsie) are powered by dual-mode (electric/diesel) GE P32AC-DM locomotives. Poughkeepsie station is a Metro-North Railroad and Amtrak stop serving the city of Poughkeepsie, New York. The station is the northern terminus of Metro-North's Hudson Line, and an intermediate stop for Amtrak's several Empire Corridor trains. Built in 1918, the main station building is meant to be a much smaller version of Grand Central Terminal. It was a source of civic pride when it opened. New York State Route 9A (NY 9A) is a state highway in the vicinity of New York City in the United States. Its southern terminus is at Battery Place near the northern end of the Brooklyn–Battery Tunnel in New York City, where it intersects with both the unsigned Interstate 478 (I-478) and FDR Drive.
