Corrado Colombo (gymnast)
Corrado Mario Colombo (born 3 August 1979) is an Italian former footballer who played as a striker. Club career Atalanta, Inter and loans Colombo started his career at the famous youth rank of Atalanta. He made his debut on Serie B and for the club in 1998–99 season, and then joined Pistoiese (Serie B). He was signed by the giant Internazionale in the summer of 2000 in co-ownership deal. He made his Serie A debut on 1 October 2000 against Reggina Calcio, and four other appearances at Coppa Italia, Italian Super Cup and the UEFA Cup match, in which he scored. In October, he was on loan to Torino Calcio (Serie B) along with Sixto Peralta, due to there being too many strikers on the squad. He failed to return to Inter, but was sold back to Atalanta, this time in the Serie A. His first ever Serie A season as regular was fair, in which he made 22 appearances. Vimercate
Vimercate (; lmo, label=Brianzöö, Vimercaa ) is a city and ''comune'' in the province of Monza and Brianza, Lombardy, northern Italy. It is from Milan and from Monza. Its name (whose first finding dates back to the year 745) derives from the Latin ''Vicus Mercati'', which later became ''Vicus Mercatum'' and then ''Vimercato'', the ancient form of ''Vimercate'', used up until the 19th century. It means "Marketplace, market village", since Vimercate was an active trade center. The city was founded by the Ancient Rome, Romans on the banks of the river Molgora, and it originally was a Roman Castra, castrum (a military camp). The Supercoppa Italiana ( en, Italian Super Cup) is an annual association football, football match contested by the winners of the Serie A and the Coppa Italia in the previous season. If the same team wins both the Serie A and Coppa Italia titles in the previous season, the Supercoppa is contested by the Serie A winner and the Coppa Italia runner-up, in essence becoming a rematch of the previous year's Coppa Italia final. 2001–02 Serie A
The 2001–02 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM for sponsorship reasons) was the 100th season of top-tier Italian football, the 70th in a round-robin tournament. It was composed by 18 teams, for the 14th consecutive time from season 1988–89. The first two teams qualified directly to the UEFA Champions League, teams ending in the third and fourth places had to play Champions League qualifications, teams ending in the fifth and sixth places qualified for the UEFA Cup (another spot was given to the winner of Coppa Italia), while the last four teams were to be relegated to Serie B. However, Fiorentina's subsequent bankruptcy led to them being placed in the fourth tier of Italian football. It was contested by 18 teams, for the 13th consecutive season since 1988–89. Roma won its first '' Scudetto'' since 1982–83, its third title overall. Juventus finished second, and these two teams automatically qualified for the first group stage of the 2001–02 UEFA Champions League. Biagio Pagano (born 29 January 1983) is an Italian footballer who plays for Ghivizzano Borgoamozzano. Emiliano Bonazzoli (; born 20 January 1979) is a former Italian footballer who played as a striker. Club career Bonazzoli started his career at Brescia. He played his first professional match on 15 May 1997 against Lecce, which his only match of the season the Serie B Champion. In the next two seasons he occasionally played for the first team and youth team. In second half of 1998–99 season, he left for league rival Cesena. The lira (; plural lire) was the currency of Italy between 1861 and 2002. It was first introduced by the Napoleonic Kingdom of Italy in 1807 at par with the French franc, and was subsequently adopted by the different states that would eventually form the Kingdom of Italy in 1861.
