Coronel Fabriciano
Coronel Fabriciano is a Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in the states of Brazil, state of Minas Gerais in the Southeast Region, Brazil, Southeast region of Brazil. It is located in the region of Vale do Rio Doce and is situated 200 km from the Belo Horizonte, state capital. The municipal population was estimated in 2020 by Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics, IBGE in 110,290 inhabitants. The area is ( of urban area). Serra Dos Cocais
The Serra dos Cocais (English: Cocais Mountains) is a mountain chain located in the Municipalities of Brazil, Brazilian municipality of Coronel Fabriciano, in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais. It is part of the geologic province of the Espinhaço Mountains, Espinhaço mountains and is composed of continuous blocks of granite over 600 million years old. Its altitude, which reaches a high point of 1200 meters above sea level, stands out from the surrounding terrain with average altitudes ranging between 500 and 800 meters. It contains an important remnant of the Atlantic Forest, in the middle of considerable reforestation with eucalyptus, and has been considered an area of environmental protection since 2002. Timóteo
Timóteo is a Brazilian Municipalities of Brazil, municipality in the state of Minas Gerais, located by the Piracicaba River (Minas Gerais), Piracicaba River. The population as of 2020 was 90,568 inhabitants. The city is situated in the metropolitan area of the Steel Valley (Vale do Aço). It is the hometown of Aperam South America (old Acesita), a steel factory specialized in the production of stainless steel, now named Aperam. Usiminas is one of the largest producers of steel in the Americas, with major steel mills in Brazil with a total capacity of 9.5 million metric tons of steel per year. The company accounts for 28% of total steel output in Brazil. Usiminas has an installed capacity of producing 9.5 million tons of crude steel. The company also operates in the logistics sector through a stake in logistic company MRS Logística. Saint Sebastian
Saint Sebastian (in Latin: ''Sebastianus''; Narbo, Gallia Narbonensis, Roman Empire c. AD 255 – Rome, Italia, Roman Empire c. AD 288) was an early Christian saint and martyr. According to traditional belief, he was killed during the Diocletianic Persecution of Christians. He was initially tied to a post or tree and shot with arrows, though this did not kill him. He was, according to tradition, rescued and healed by Saint Irene of Rome, which became a popular subject in 17th-century painting. In all versions of the story, shortly after his recovery he went to Diocletian to warn him about his sins, and as a result was clubbed to death.
