Glenn Cornick
Glenn Douglas Barnard Cornick (23 April 1947 – 28 August 2014) was an English bass guitarist, best known as the original bassist for the British rock band Jethro Tull from 1967 to 1970. ''Rolling Stone'' has called his playing with Tull as "stout, nimble underpinning, the vital half of a blues-ribbed, jazz-fluent rhythm section". Early life and career Cornick attended Barrow-in-Furness Grammar School for Boys, and then moved to Blackpool. The first group he played with was "The Executives", a group that played versions of famous songs in clubs and pubs. Paul Cornick (born March 15, 1989) is an American football offensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He played college football at North Dakota State University and attended Orono High School in Orono, Minnesota. He has been a member of the New York Jets, Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL). Early years Cornick participated in football and track and field for Orono High School. He was an Associated Press honorable mention all-state selection in 2006 and a Star Tribune third-team all-metro team selection. He has one older sister, Jennifer Campbell. Cornick ( fil, kornik) is a Filipino deep-fried crunchy puffed corn nut snack. It is most commonly garlic-flavored but can also come in a variety of other flavors. It is traditionally made with glutinous corn. Description Cornick is made by soaking corn kernels in water for three days, changing the water used for soaking daily. The corn used is traditionally glutinous corn (''mais malagkit'' or ''mais pilit''), but other types of corn can also be used, including popcorn. After soaking, the kernels are drained and dried thoroughly. It is then deep-fried in oil at about , to ensure that the kernels do not pop. It is cooked for around two to three minutes then drained on paper towels. Cornick is traditionally seasoned with salt and toasted garlic. Commercial variants come in a larger aray of flavors including adobo, chili, cheese, and barbecue flavors.
