Corneliu Ionescu ( February 20, 1956) is a Romanian painter, famous for his ballerinas. He was born in Pitești, Argeș County. He attended the Bucharest National University of Arts in the class of Gheorghe Șaru. Corneliu Vadim Tudor
Corneliu Vadim Tudor (; 28 November 1949 – 14 September 2015) also colloquially known as "Tribunul" was the leader of the Greater Romania Party ( ro, Partidul România Mare), poet, writer, journalist, and a Member of the European Parliament. He was a Romanian Senator from 1992 to 2008. He was born and died in Bucharest, Romania. As a political figure, he was known for having held strong nationalist views, which were reflected in his rhetoric and his denunciation of political opponents (a tactic which the judgements in several civil lawsuits handed down against him deemed to be slanderous). Corneliu Teodorini
Corneliu Teodorini (18 September 1893 – 10 July 1976) was a Romanian general during World War II. He was a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and the Order of Michael the Brave, 2nd Class. He was born in Craiova. He was promoted to lieutenant colonel in 1934 and to colonel in 1938. During World War II, he was in command of the 1st Cavalry Regiment from June 1 to October 5, 1941. This was followed by command of the 8th Cavalry Brigade from October 5, 1941, to May 10, 1942. He then headed the propaganda department at the Romanian General Staff. From July 7 to October 5, 1942, he was in the cavalry headquarters at the Ministry of War. Teodorini commanded the Romanian forces during the Kerch–Eltigen Operation in Crimea in November 1943. Corneliu Șumuleanu
Corneliu Șumuleanu (November 4, 1869–December 15, 1937) was a Romanian chemist and far-right politician. Biography Born in Iași, he attended the city's National College, following which he enrolled in the Faculty of Physical and Chemical Sciences at the University of Iași. There, his professors included Petru Poni and Grigore Cobălcescu. In 1891, he was named assistant to Poni, and he earned his degree in 1894. In 1895, he was hired at the city's recently established food chemistry laboratory, where he showed a talent for organization. In late 1896, he married Clemansa Climescu, a 19-year-old student and the daughter of a university professor. In 1897, Șumuleanu left for the University of Berlin. Corneliu Stroe (22 October 1949 – 11 June 2017) was a Romanian drummer and percussionist. Born in Bucharest, he moved at the age of 2 to Mediaș, due to his father's job. Corneliu Robe (23 May 1908 – 4 January 1969) was a Romanian football player who was a member of the Romania national football team which participated in the 1930 FIFA World Cup. He used to play as a midfielder. Career Club career In his career as a football player, Corneliu Robe played for four clubs: Colțea, Olympia, Unirea Tricolor and Sportul Studențesc all teams from Bucharest, his hometown. He started his career in 1924, when he was sixteen, at Colțea București. He played for Olympia from 1925 until 1932, when he signed with Unirea Tricolor București, a club from Obor ( Colentina quarter). He retired from football in 1937, when he was only twenty-nine. Corneliu Porumboiu (; born 14 September 1975) is a Romanian film director, screenwriter, and film producer. Life and education Corneliu Porumboiu was born in Vaslui, Vaslui County, Romania. He is the son of a former Romanian language teacher and a former football referee , currently a businessman. Between 1994 and 1998 he attended the faculty of Management at ASE University Bucharest. Corneliu Moldovanu
Corneliu Moldovanu (pen name of Corneliu Vasiliu; 15 August 1883 – 2 September 1952) was a Romanian poet, prose writer and playwright. Born in Bârlad, his parents were Dumitrache Vasiliu, a merchant, and his wife Ruxandra (''née'' Rășcanu). After attending primary school in his native town, he entered the Boarding High School in Iași, graduating in 1902. He then earned a degree from the University of Bucharest's literature and philosophy faculty, in 1904. Starting that year, he was a secretary at the Conservatory of Music and Dramatic Arts, rising to associate professor in 1911. In 1917 at Iași, Romania's temporary World War I capital, he published ''Românul'' newspaper, together with Mihail Sadoveanu, Octavian Goga, Mihail Sorbul, Barbu Ștefănescu Delavrancea and Ion Minulescu.
