Corina Schröder
Corina Schröder (born 15 August 1986) is a German footballer who plays as a left-back most recently for Birmingham City in the FA WSL, having previously played for Liverpool Ladies. Before moving to England she played for FCR 2001 Duisburg, 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam and SC 07 Bad Neuenahr in her native Germany. Nicknamed "Coco", she has also been capped for the Germany women's national under-20 football team. Club career Schröder started her professional career in the Bundesliga at FCR 2001 Duisburg. She was a runner-up with Duisburg for four seasons in a row from 2005 to 2008. In the 2008–09 season, Schröder won the UEFA Women's Cup. She also claimed the 2009 German Cup title with Duisburg. The UEFA Women's Champions League 2009–10 was the first edition of the newly branded tournament, and the ninth edition of a UEFA tournament for women's champion football clubs. For the first time the top 8 leagues of the UEFA were awarded two entry places in this year's season. The 2009–10 Bundesliga was the 47th season of the Bundesliga, Germany's premier football league. The season commenced on 7 August 2009 with the traditional season-opening match involving the defending champions VfL Wolfsburg and VfB Stuttgart. The last games were played on 8 May 2010. The Frauen-Bundesliga (German for ''Women's Federal League''), currently known as the FLYERALARM Frauen-Bundesliga for sponsorship reasons, is the top level of league competition for women's association football in Germany. In 1990 the German Football Association (DFB) created the German Women's Bundesliga, based on the model of the men's Bundesliga. It was first played with north and south divisions, but in 1997 the groups were merged to form a uniform league. The league currently consists of twelve teams and the seasons usually last from late summer to the end of spring with a break in the winter. The DFB-Pokal Frauen is the main national Women's association football, women's football cup competition in Germany, thus the female counterpart to the DFB-Pokal. 2006 FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship
The 2006 FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship was held in Russia from 17 August to 3 September 2006. It was the officially recognized world championship for women's under-20 national association football teams. Matches were held in four Moscow stadiums (Dynamo, Lokomotiv, Podmoskovie Stadium and Torpedo Stadium) and one in Saint Petersburg (Petrovsky Stadium). This was the third women's world youth championship organized by FIFA, but the first with an age limit of 20. The first two events, held in Canada in 2002 and Thailand in 2004, had an age limit of 19. FIFA changed the age limit to prepare for the creation of an under-17 championship in 2008. Nicole Rolser (born 7 February 1992) is a German footballer who last played for Bayern Munich. Career Rolser started her professional career in 2009–10 at second division VfL Sindelfingen. In their first season she played 21 league matches and scored one goal. For 2010–11, Rolser moved to Bundesliga SC 07 Bad Neuenahr, where she became a regular player straight away and scored ten goals in 21 league games. The 2015 season of the Women's Super League was the fifth season of the FA WSL, the top-level women's football league of England. The season was played from 25 March to 4 October. Liverpool were the defending champions from the 2014 FA WSL. Chelsea became the title winners and together with Manchester City (who finished as runners-up) qualified for the 2016–17 UEFA Women's Champions League. This was the second season since the WSL 2 was introduced. As part of a two-year expansion plan, the WSL 1 will increase to nine teams for the 2016 season. The 2014 FA WSL was the fourth season of the FA WSL, the top-level women's football league of England. The season began on 30 March and ended on 12 October. Liverpool L.F.C. are the defending champions from the 2013 FA WSL. The top two teams qualify for the 2015–16 UEFA Women's Champions League. Beginning in the 2014 season, the WSL added a second division, the WSL 2. Because the divisions are interconnected, WSL 1 teams face the risk of relegation for the first time in the league's history.
