Corey Small
Corey Small (born March 23, 1987 in St. Catharines, Ontario) is a Canadians, Canadian lacrosse player who plays for the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League and formerly the Hamilton Nationals in Major League Lacrosse. High school career Small attended Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School (St. Catharines), Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School in St. Catharines. During his senior year at Holy Cross, he helped lead the Raiders to a OFSAA, provincial championship. Canadian Box career Junior Small played for the St. Catharines Athletics Jr. A, St. Catharines Athletics in the OLA Junior A Lacrosse League from to 2004 to 2008. In 2005, he won the Gaylord Powless Sportsmanship Award. During his 5 years for the Athletics, Small totaled up 127 goals and 278 points in just 102 games. He would also round up 40 goals and 77 points in 30 playoff games. The Philadelphia Wings are a professional box lacrosse team in the East Division of the National Lacrosse League. The Wings have played at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, since the 2018–2019 season. History The Philadelphia Wings were a member of the National Lacrosse League, a professional box lacrosse league in North America starting in 1987. They played at the Spectrum (1987–96) and then at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lacrosse is a team sport played with a lacrosse stick and a lacrosse ball. Albany Great Danes Men's Lacrosse
The Albany Great Danes men's lacrosse team represents the University at Albany in NCAA Division I men's college lacrosse. Albany currently competes in the America East Conference and plays its home games on Bob Ford Field at Tom & Mary Casey Stadium. The team has reached the NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship tournament ten times. The Great Danes are currently coached by Scott Marr. History The program began in 1970 with a 3–7 record competing in Division III. In 1975, the program would reach the ECAC Division III Tournament under coach Dave Armstrong. From 1975 to 1997, the Great Danes would reach two more ECAC Division III Tournaments.
