Corey Domachowski
Corey Domachowski (born 11 September 1996) is a Welsh professional rugby union player who plays as a prop for United Rugby Championship club Cardiff and the Wales national team. Club career Domachowski made his debut for Cardiff in 2017 having previously played for the academy team. The Church Village-born loosehead prop represented Wales at under-20 level, and featured for Cardiff Rugby as a replacement in Challenge Cup quarter final defeat to Gloucester in 2017. International career On 1 May 2023, Warren Gatland selected him in Wales' 54 player training squad for the Rugby World Cup 2023. Church Village
Church Village ( cy, Pentre'r Eglwys) is a large village in the historic parish and community of Llantwit Fardre, located within the Taff Ely district of the County Borough of Rhondda Cynon Taf in Wales. The village is centrally located being around from the local principal towns of Llantrisant to the southwest and Pontypridd to the north and is situated around northwest of Cardiff city centre. History Historically the village was known as Cross Inn and fell within the traditional county of Glamorgan. Church Village itself does not share the extent of industrial mining heritage of much of the rest of the county and largely comprises new and recent build housing. The England national rugby union team represents England in men's international rugby union. They compete in the annual Six Nations Championship with France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. 2023 Rugby World Cup
The 2023 Rugby World Cup is scheduled to be the tenth men's Rugby World Cup, the quadrennial world championship for men's rugby union teams. It is scheduled to take place in France from 8 September to 28 October 2023 in nine venues across the country. The opening match and final will take place at the Stade de France, in the commune of Saint-Denis, north of Paris. The tournament will take place in the bicentenary year of the "invention" of the sport by William Webb Ellis. Originally, the tournament was scheduled to last the typical six weeks; however, on 23 February 2021, World Rugby announced an additional week to accommodate the additional rest day requirement for player welfare. Tonyrefail School
Tonyrefail School was an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school of approximately 1050 students that served the town of Tonyrefail and the surrounding areas. The school was situated on the north side of the town of Tonyrefail, on the B4278 near Bryngolau, around three miles south of Tonypandy and about four miles west of Pontypridd. It took its pupils from a cluster of six primary schools, Abercerdin, Cwmlai, Hendreforgan, Tonyrefail, Tref-y-Rhyg, and Williamstown, and worked with other schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf to offer a range of post-16 courses at its Sixth Form Centre. Warren Gatland
Warren David Gatland (born 17 September 1963) is a New Zealand rugby union coach and former player who is currently in his second spell as the head coach of the Wales national team. As head coach of Wales from 2007 to 2019, he won four Six Nations titles, including three Grand Slams, and reached the semi-finals of the 2011 and 2019 Rugby World Cups. Gatland was also head coach of the British & Irish Lions on three tours, to Australia in 2013, when they won the Test series 2–1; New Zealand in 2017, when the series was drawn; and South Africa in 2021, losing the series 2–1.
