Coreplay Games
Coreplay was a video game developer located in Munich, Germany. The company was founded by Peter Ohlmann and Andreas Drude in 2007. Peter Ohlmann previously worked on ''The Settlers II'', '' Knights and Merchants'' and '' SpellForce 2''. Coreplay shut down in September 2013 due to issues with their publisher, bitComposer, while ''Chaos Chronicles'' was still in development. With ''Ion Assault'', Coreplay was the first German game development company that released a game on Xbox Live Arcade. Their project '' Jagged Alliance: Back in Action'' was announced to be released in February 2012. The game is a remake of ''Jagged Alliance 2'' by Sir-Tech with additional features of an average graphical 3D engine, "Plan & Go" system and about 60 mercenaries for hire. ''Jagged Alliance 2'' is a tactical role-playing game for PC, released in 1999 for Microsoft Windows and later ported to Linux by Tribsoft. It is the third entry in the ''Jagged Alliance'' series. The game was followed by the expansion '' Unfinished Business'' in 2000. Two commercial versions of the mod ''Wildfire'' were released in 2004 in the form of expansion packs. The core game and the ''Unfinished Business'' expansion were combined and released under the title '' Jagged Alliance 2 Gold Pack'' in 2002. The game takes place in the fictional country of Arulco, which has been ruled by the ruthless monarch Deidranna for several years. The player is put in control of hired mercenaries and with aid of local citizens and militia must reclaim Arulco's cities and ultimately defeat Deidranna. ''Germany's Next Topmodel'' (often abbreviated as ''GNTM'') is a German reality television series, based on a concept introduced by Tyra Banks with ''America's Next Top Model''. The competition is hosted by Heidi Klum who also serves as the lead judge and executive producer of the show. The show is heavily criticized in Germany because of the treatment of its contestants. History In fall 1979, Sirotech Software was founded by Norman Sirotek, Robert Sirotek and Robert Woodhead.
