Cord McCoy
Cord Jarret McCoy (born August 19, 1980) is an American professional rodeo stock contractor and producer and former professional rodeo cowboy who specialized in saddle bronc riding and bull riding. He is best known as the 2nd-place finisher (along with his brother Jet McCoy) on '' The Amazing Race 16''. Jet and Cord returned to compete in the eighteenth season of ''The Amazing Race'', finishing in 6th place. Jet and Cord returned for ''The Amazing Race 24'' also known as ''"The Amazing Race All-Stars"'' finishing in 5th place. In 2022 and 2023, Cord was the head coach of the Oklahoma Freedom (Florida Freedom as of 2024) for the PBR Team Series season. Durant () is a city in Bryan County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 18,589 in the 2020 census. It serves as the capital of the Choctaw Nation, and is the largest settlement on the reservation, ranking ahead of McAlester and Poteau. The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) is the largest rodeo organization in the world. The American Rodeo
The American Rodeo, or simply The American, is an annual rodeo held since 2014 in Arlington, Texas. It accepts competitors from across the world who partake in qualifier events. The event features the eight standard events in professional rodeo. Both amateur competitors and professionals may qualify in the competition. The competition begins with preliminary rounds in January. The top competitors then proceed to the semifinals and eventually the "Contender Round" finals. The champions of each event at The American win a trophy belt buckle, trophy saddle, and a minimum of $100,000. In 2022, the total purse surpassed $3 million. Decatur, Texas
Decatur is the county seat of Wise County, Texas, United States. Its population was 6,538 in 2020. History Wise County was established in 1856, and Taylorsville (in honor of Zachary Taylor) was made the county seat. The Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) was the Premier Series tour name of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) competitions from 2003 through 2017. Inaugural season (2003) The BFTS kicked off its tour on November 16, 2002, with the Mohegan Sun Invitational in Uncasville, Connecticut. National Finals Rodeo
The National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is the premier championship rodeo of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). It showcases the talents of the PRCA's top 15 money winners in the season for each event. The NFR is held each year in the first full week of December, at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Paradise, Nevada, United States, and is aired live on The Cowboy Channel. ''Cowboy Christmas'', a cowboy gift show, is held concurrent with the rodeo at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Championship Bull Riding, Inc. (CBR) was a professional bull riding organization that was based in Weatherford, Texas, United States. History Stock contractor Terry Williams and Texas businessman Joel Logan founded Championship Bull Riding (CBR) in Carthage, Texas, in 2002.
