Corbin City is a city in Atlantic County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2020 United States Census, the city's population was 471, a decrease of 21 (−4.3%) from the 2010 census count of 492, which in turn reflected an increase of 24 (+5.1%) from the 468 counted in the 2000 Census. Corbin/Hanner was an American country music group founded by Bob Corbin and David Hanner. They began as a five-piece band called the Corbin/Hanner Band in 1979. Corbin and Hanner served as lead vocalists and guitarists, with Al Snyder (keyboards), Kip Paxton (bass guitar), and Dave Freeland (drums) completing the lineup. The quintet released two albums for Alfa Records before disbanding in 1984. Corbin and Hanner reunited in 1990 as a duo, recording two more albums for Mercury Records, followed by four more albums on independent labels before disbanding in 2000. Corbin Park (also known as the Blue Mountain Forest and Game Preserve) is a private game preserve in New Hampshire. It contains land in Croydon, Cornish, Plainfield, and Grantham. It occupies somewhere between of land and was started in 1889 by businessman Austin Corbin. The park is known today for its secrecy. History Austin Corbin founded the park in 1889 by buying up a large number of parcels of land in western New Hampshire. The nonprofit Blue Mountain Association was created in 1891 to manage the park. After Corbin died in 1896, his son Austin Jr. took over management of the Association and the park, and held the role until his own death in 1938. Corbin Creek Falls is a waterfall in North Carolina on Corbin Creek near Upper Whitewater Falls. As with most of North Carolina's waterfalls, it is in the mountainous area of the state. There is a cluster of falls in the area where the borders of Georgia and the Carolinas come together. Corbin Creek Falls is part of that group, very close to the South Carolina border. Natural history Corbin Creek Falls is viewable in the same area as Upper Whitewater Falls. Corbin Creek Falls cascades over the course of a half mile. However, not all of the falls can be seen from one location, and the hike to the falls is very difficult. There is some debate as to the height of the falls.
