The Copyright Agency of Azerbaijan Republic ( az, Azərbaycan Respublikası Müəllif Hüquqları Agentliyi) is a governmental agency within the Cabinet of Azerbaijan in charge of regulation of activities related to protection of copyrights and intellectual property in Azerbaijan Republic. The committee is headed by Kamran Imanov. History and structure The Copyright Agency was established by the Presidential Decree on September 10, 1993. Paris Convention For Protection Of Industrial Property
The Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, signed in Paris, France, on 20 March 1883, was one of the first intellectual property treaties. It established a Union for the protection of industrial property. The convention is currently still in force. The substantive provisions of the Convention fall into three main categories: national treatment, priority right and common rules.
