Copying is the duplication of information or an artifact based on an instance of that information or artifact, and not using the process that originally generated it. With analog forms of information, copying is only possible to a limited degree of accuracy, which depends on the quality of the equipment used and the skill of the operator. Copy, real name Marius Libman, is an electronic music artist on the Audio Dregs record label. He has released four full-length albums, along with three "DJ Copy" remix CDs. Copy was chosen as the winner of Willamette Week's "Best New Band" award for 2006, which showcases the top new artists in Copy's native Portland, Oregon. In human–computer interaction and user interface design, cut, copy, and paste are related commands that offer an interprocess communication technique for transferring data through a computer's user interface. The ''cut'' command removes the selected data from its original position, while the ''copy'' command creates a duplicate; in both cases the selected data is kept in temporary storage (the clipboard).
