Copa Grão-Pará
The Copa Grão-Pará is a state association football tournament organized by the Federação Paraense de Futebol. The tournament is made up of four teams eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Campeonato Paraense and two more from the semi-finals, making a total of six teams. Copa Do Brasil
The Copa do Brasil ( en, Brazil Cup) is a knockout football competition played by 92 teams, representing all 26 Brazilian states plus the Federal District. It is the Brazilian domestic cup and the Brazilian equivalent of the FA Cup, Taça de Portugal, Copa del Rey, Scottish Cup and Copa Argentina. The Copa do Brasil is an opportunity for teams from smaller states to play against the big teams. The winner of the cup automatically qualifies for the following edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, the most prestigious continental football tournament contested by top clubs in South America organized by CONMEBOL. Tuna Luso Brasileira, commonly referred to as Tuna Luso, is a Brazilian professional football club based in Belém, Pará founded on 1 January 1903. It competes in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth tier of Brazilian football, as well as in the Campeonato Paraense, the top flight of the Pará state football league. History Tuna Luso was founded initially as a musical band. It occurred because the Portuguese cruiser ''Dom Carlos'' was going to visit the port of Belém on November 12, 1902. Some Portuguese youths, residing in the city, decided to found a musical band to receive their fellow countrymen. The name they chose to the band was Tuna Luso Caixeiral. Tuna means popular orchestra, Luso means Portuguese, and Caixeiral means commerce employee.
