Copa Chile 1992
The Copa Chile 1992 was the 22nd edition of the Chilean Cup tournament. The competition started on February 29, 1992, and concluded on June 18, 1992. U. Española won the competition for their second time, beating Colo-Colo 3–1 on the final. The points system used in the first round of the tournament was; 2 points for the winner but, if the winner team scores 4 or more goals, they won 3 points; in case of a tie, every team took 1 point but, no points for each team if the score were 0–0. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season. Provincial Osorno is a football club based in Osorno, Los Lagos Region, Chile. The club is currently playing at the fourth tier of the Chilean football system, the Tercera División. The club were founded on 5 June 1983 and then re-founded on 3 December 2012. Deportes Iberia is a Chilean football club based in Los Ángeles that currently plays in Primera B (second-tier). The club hold its home games at Estadio Municipal de Los Ángeles which has a capacity of 5,000 spectators. In 1933, the club was officially established as Deportes Iberia, basing in Conchalí (Santiago). Then Iberia joined the Asociación de Fútbol de Santiago, but recently in 1946 the club joined Primera División, spending there eight years until the 1954 season when they, after finishing in the bottom of the table, were relegated to second-tier, being the first Chilean relegated team in its football history. Club Deportivo Huachipato is a Chilean football club based in Talcahuano that is a current member of the Chilean Primera División. The club was founded 7 June 1947 and plays its home games at the Estadio CAP, which has a capacity of 10,500 people (all-seated). Deportes Magallanes is a Chilean Football team based in San Bernardo, Chile. They will play in the Primera División de Chile starting from 2023 after winning the 2022 Primera B championship. Colchagua Club de Deportes or just Colchagua is a chilean Football club, their home town is San Fernando in Chile. They currently play in the Tercera Division A (Third Division A) of Chilean football, which is actually the fourth division on chilean football due to ANFP ruling. Its traditional rivals are Rancagua Sur and O'Higgins both from the city of Rancagua in the O'Higgins Region which is where San Fernando is also located, it also has rivalry with General Velásquez from the nearby town of San Vicente and with Deportes Santa Cruz.
