Coomera railway station is located on the Gold Coast line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Gold Coast suburb of Coomera. History Coomera station opened on 25 February 1996 when the Gold Coast line opened from Beenleigh to Helensvale. A track duplication to the south of the station, linking with Helensvale, was completed in October 2017. The new track provides additional capacity in time for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. The duplication required the construction of 8 new rail bridges, including one with a span of 860 metres across the Coomera River, Hope Island Road and Saltwater Creek. Loganlea Railway Station, Brisbane
Loganlea railway station is located on the Beenleigh line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the suburbs of Loganlea and Meadowbrook in Logan City. The station opened in 1885 at the same time as the line. On 21 April 1992, a second platform opened as part of the duplication of the line. It is within a short distance of the Logan Hospital, TAFE college, Griffith University Logan campus, Loganlea State High School and Woolworths supermarket. History In the past it was used to load freight for the distribution of timber and local produce. It once had a goods shed. The station was severely damaged by a cyclone in 1936. Pimpama
Pimpama is a northern suburb in the City of Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. In the , Pimpama had a population of 9,396 people. The name is of Aboriginal origin. The suburb contains numerous schools with the first opening in the 1870s. A small farming community grew in the area from the 1860s. It was once a stop for Cobb and Co coach services. Pimpama was the location of the state's first sawmill. Growing arrowroot had become popular from as early as the 1880s. By 1908, the region's arrowroot crop supplied the whole country. Surfside Buslines was an Australian bus operator on the Gold Coast in Queensland. It operated 56 services under contract to the Government of Queensland under the TransLink banner. Doomben Railway Station
Doomben railway station is the terminal station of the Pinkenba line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Brisbane suburb of Ascot adjacent to Doomben Racecourse. History The Pinkenba line opened on 1 April 1897 to Pinkenba. A station for Doomben Racecourse was opened in 1909 alongside the Nudgee Road level crossing, and in 1976 a new station named Whinstanes-Doomben opened slightly farther east; Whinstanes was the name of the industrial branch line that crosses Kingsford Smith Drive to the Hamilton Cold Stores. Altandi railway station is located on the Beenleigh railway line, Beenleigh line in Queensland, Australia. It is one of three stations serving the Brisbane suburb of Sunnybank, Queensland, Sunnybank, the others being Sunnybank railway station, Sunnybank and Banoon railway station, Banoon.
